Mon Platin Cosmetics USA LLC ("Mon Platin," "we," "us," or "our") operates an SMS marketing program through our third-party service provider Klaviyo. These SMS Marketing Terms describe how the program works and your rights and obligations as a subscriber. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to our SMS marketing program, you agree to these terms.
What You're Agreeing To
You agree to receive recurring marketing, promotional, transactional, and order-related text messages from Mon Platin at the mobile number you provided. Message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply.
How Your Number Was Collected
We collect mobile phone numbers and consent through our website signup forms, checkout (where you may opt in to receive marketing texts), and other lawful means. We do not auto-enroll customers into SMS marketing without explicit, affirmative consent.
Abandoned Cart Text Messages
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to identify when items have been added to a shopping cart and then left without completing checkout. If you have opted in to our SMS marketing program, we may send you a reminder text message about your abandoned cart. Reminder messages are limited to one message per unique cart event and are sent within the timeframe permitted by applicable law and industry guidelines (TCPA, CTIA).
How to Opt Out
You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. You may opt back in by replying START. For help, reply HELP. You may also contact us at contact@mon-platin.com to request removal. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
SMS Opt-In Data Is Not Shared with Third Parties
Your phone number, your SMS consent record, and any data we collect about your engagement with our text messages are used only by Mon Platin and our SMS service provider (Klaviyo) for the sole purpose of providing this service. We do not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data, mobile phone numbers, or consent records with any third parties for their marketing purposes. Any third-party data sharing described in our Privacy Policy excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
Quiet Hours and Permitted Times
We do not send marketing text messages outside of permitted hours, generally 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the recipient's local time zone, in accordance with the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state telemarketing laws.
Florida Residents
Mon Platin Cosmetics USA LLC operates a fulfillment warehouse in Florida. Our SMS marketing program complies with the Florida Telemarketing Consumer Protection Act in addition to the federal TCPA. Florida residents have the same rights and protections described above and may exercise them by contacting contact@mon-platin.com.
Data Retention
We retain your SMS subscription record (number, opt-in timestamp, consent disclosure shown to you at signup, and message history) for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period after you unsubscribe in order to honor your opt-out and to demonstrate compliance with applicable law. You may request earlier deletion by emailing us at the address below.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Marketing Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting your rights will be communicated through the program where reasonably practicable.
